I saw my doctor today ( ultrasound & blood test results )....

For those of you who asked me to keep you updated regarding all this, here is the update. ( I was quite sick recently. It lasted for weeks along with sleeping too much and feeling bloated even when I wasn't eating ).
I've been feeling quite better. Stomach still gets bloated every now and then but nothing compared to before.
Anyway I saw my doctor today to hear my ultrasound and blood test results. The results showed no diabetes, thyroid is fine, my kidneys are fine, my iron has improved ( it was borderline low before I think she said ), my liver has improved ( it wasn't doing so great when I had my gallbladder ) and yeah everything was fine. Which is great! ONLY thing it showed is a bit of fat around my liver which she said nothing to worry about but of course to make some changes to reverse that. Which I will. I do exercise and eat well often but could definitely step it up!
As for what the problem was, my doctor and I do have a theory of why I wasn't feeling too good and she got me to try to have something every day from the pharmacy for awhile to see if it helps. I'm deliberately being vague right now.
Basically I wasn't...."going" like people should....ya get me?
So I don't know if that was the issue. Will see how I go from here on out. Stress could have been part of the sleeping too much I don't know. Hard to say when results are all fine. Maybe it was just a weird sickly phase.
Thank you for reading. I will be on here for a little bit to catch up on notifications.

@VivaLaDani13 After having a surgery and lots of pain pills and ibuprofen I had that problem for quite some time. Different things work for different people. I found that eating spinach, whether cooked or raw, would help me better than anything from the pharmacy.

@VivaLaDani13 I never tried prune juice, the prunes are not too bad, my husband needs them time by time.

@LadyDuck Thank you kindly. So, I've never had prunes before. I've only had prune juice to help...with "that" years ago but I hated the taste that I block my nose when drinking it lol Do prunes and prune juice taste the same?

@VivaLaDani13 Prunes can be very effective I've heard so better start carefully.
A friend of mine ate a hole box when we studied together, she stayed in her flat the next day.

@Torunn Thank you for the tip. I did drink a whole big bottle of Prune juice once. That day was the first time I tried it and didn't realise that I shouldn't have drunk so much. Didn't end well lol
lol oh boy! I'm so sorry that happened to your friend. I can sympathise!

@Torunn Those are some things I have thought about adding to my diet. I do have beans some times. I'm worried about the prunes lol but I will try it.
Thank you so much for the suggestions and for reading.

@Juliaacv Thank you so much for your suggest. I have started to eat a bit more yogurt. As for the water, I think I actually need to drink more. I don't really drink the correct amount each day.

Look on the bright side, you probably saved on toilet paper, which is worth more than gold right now! haha
Well, the results have ruled out a lot of things. Hopefully whatever it is your doctor has you trying from the pharmacy will produce good results. Have you also talked to you doctor about digestive issues? Like could you have UC, Crohn's Disease, or IBS? Probably wouldn't hurt to check and rule those out as well.

@VivaLaDani13 Make sure stay on top of the situation if you keep feeling icky. You need to get to the bottom of this and figure out what is causing your symptoms.
What are you doing up so late?

@moffittjc LOL. So true!
She's asked me a bunch of questions which I can't remember now lol But I don't think we spoke about those things. Maybe because I wasn't showing / talking about specific signs that lead to those problems.
If I begin to feel like before or worse then I will be going back.

@moffittjc Of course I would. I don't let things like this fester.
I can be quite....hmmm what's the word? Not really a hypochondriac but that's the best word I can use right now but just not as bad. I get anxious if I think something is wrong ( not this time around I wasn't really worried much ) but there can be times I just feel the need to know what's going on ASAP.
Oddly enough, even though I was up all night Tuesday night, I only had a tiny nap after class and then was up again for many hours after. I did eventually sleep again.

@VivaLaDani13 not for me. Just trouble going, which causes bad stomach aches. My doctor had me see a gastroenterologist, who had taken blood and looked at my levels, which showed him some info and then had me do a poo sample to check that. And from the two plus my pains and trouble going, came up with ibs. And now i only get stomach pains maybe once a week. If that. When i was having them almost every day. And now i go almost daily, usually 2-5 times a day.

@Courtlynn Thank you so much for explaining all that to me, I really appreciate it. I'm not too sure if I've ever heard of a gastroenterologist before or maybe I had forgotten but maybe I can see one of those for more testing. I'm so happy to know you don't suffer with pains like you did before! What a relief!

@Courtlynn I'm so sorry to know that! If you don't mind, may I please know the symptoms? I honestly don't wish to be asking such a personal question. I only ask as I don't know anyone who has it and I have been told by other doctors in the past I have it but I'm unsure if that's just a guess or if my symptoms are obvious enough to be labelled IBS. Are the symptoms pretty much what I explained in this post? Bloating, sickness etc?

@JohnRoberts Exactly right! I was worried about having diabetes. Not that I'm showing any known symptoms but just due to everything going on with dad, I was just worried. So I'm glad that's all fine.

Once in 3-4 days!!!!!! THAT is far from normal. No wonder you are sick. So, you are saying that you don't get the urge to go. I hope whatever doctor has told you to do will help.
I am still thinking. . Once in 3-4 days!!!!!! Yikes! Make it 3-4 times in a day.

@Daljinder Yeah I mean, please don't take me wrong. I have had moments where it's not every 3-4 days but on average for as long as I can remember it's roughly been that. Not lately though due to whatever I'm having. It's called Movicol or something like that. That is helping with all that.
But I do wonder if that was what was making me feel icky. Could have been.

@VivaLaDani13 It very well could have been that. You are already taking medicines for now but in future, you can also just add two drops of castor oil in a glass of milk and drink it.
