Disinfecting for more protection

Cars entering our village is sprayed with a liquid sanitizer on the wheels. Obviously it is to cleanse the tires for the potential virus. But when I went out of the village at 5:30 pm, I have noticed that the spray tent was closed. The security guard said that the spraying is up to 5 pm only. Whaat? Maybe the virus is already asleep by 5 pm. Okay, I understand, waheehee.

Doesn't seem that would do much good.

It is useless and not good for the environment. Well, maybe it cleans the wheels.

I have to agree that it may just be a partial car wash, waheehee.

What they are doing is not consistent at all. I am just hoping that the virus is inactive when it's 5pm. . Anyway in a more serious thought, I am just hoping that government will find the right way to control this pandemic and that all people would cooperate/ They can't do it alone nor us. We must all cooperate and help in our little ways.

@Alexandoy . Well it's not easy. Toxic days and more worries. Only wish that one day we wake up and it's all gone. Stay safe in your end.

@chavezrmc thank you, that's also my wish that one day we would be back to the usual normal, traffic, pollution, etc. I miss those days.

I can’t believe that spraying the tires with sanitizer would do anything to combat the virus.

@DianneN seriously, I really find it a waste of time and effort to spray the tires. They do that in livestock farms like piggery and poultry.

I would not have thought that spraying car tyres would do any good. Maybe the virus is sleeping by 5pm.

Oh, yes, it does. At least your tires do not communicate the disease when you run on pedestrians.

Wow - I have never heard of any place disinfecting cars like that (although I have seem many people cleaning the heck out of their own cars). Yah, the virus closes shop at 5 .

There is a curfew from 8 pm to 5 am but cars are exempted. The curfew is only for people walking in the streets.

@Alexandoy That is a good idea and makes sense to me. Not a good idea to close it.

@Hannihar maybe that is their idea but I think it is just about the shift of the security guards who conduct the spraying.

The more we spray, this will help keep the virus at Bay. We need to try this around here.
