Hubby signed up for a one-month free trial of CBS All Access and we binge watched the Star Trek: Picard series over two days. Loved the series.
I heard there will be a second season. I don't want to subscribe to CBS All Access as we are not gonna watch stuff on it. But I am thinking that when the second season comes out and all the episodes air that we can just sign up for a month (whatever the cost is) and then that's it. Wonder if that is allowed? You should be able to subscribe on a monthly basis whenever you want to.

Yeah, I found out today it's on there as well. Want to watch. Maybe we can binge watch it while we still have the free trial.

I preferred Captain Kirk. I fell in love with Spock immediately.

Not very familiar with the original series but I've seen a few episodes.

@lovebuglena I will be the first one to say some of the episodes were a bit cheesy. BUT, it's a timeless classic and I love every single minute of it. Worth a watch if you are a Trekkie of any kind.

You should be able to subscribe and then quit. I don't think there's a contract with any of the streaming services.

I have wanted to watch this. But even with the free offer I'm just like, I don't want to find any reason to need all of these services with exclusive content. At that rate I'll be paying $6000 a month to watch TV. I have Netflix and Prime. If it is not on those, I simply am not going to watch.

I am assuming CBS All Access has a monthly subscription. So you can pay for one month, binge watch everything you want, and then not pay anymore.

We only have Netflix. I would not subscribe to others. There are shows I'd watch but they are either on Prime or Hulu or some other service.

@lovebuglena I like the idea of streaming services in general. I just think it will begin to defeat the purpose if it becomes a bunch of exclusive content on one or the other and then if you want to watch something you have to all of the services. By that time you might as well just pay for cable.
