A strange coincidence

My brother brought it to my notice. It says the human populace has been affected by certain epidemics on the end of the 20th year of consecutive centuries. This news stirred me a bit. Well I don't want to deduce the reason myself nor do I look for any explanation from some numerologist on these. And pardon me, if the article is not entirely correct as I am not someone who is well versed with history.

Yes this one was spreading news at that time and as they said its happened every hundred years and fact is in front of us.
