I hope that Marco will help me with the difficult part of the vegetable patch.

Even if I can only plant a couple of tomato plants in summer, I will try to have some veggies. I can plant more lettuce and chard now and see if they grow. Some seeds are not from last year. But I have heard that archeologists brought seeds fro the pyramids and they grew i had once veggies and it Helped me a lot when I has chemo as i could only eat homegrown raw veggies. Keep your fingers crossed.

It's good to grow your own vegetables. My mother grows a lot of vegetables in season. She seldom buys vegetables.

I planted seeds that I had at home from many years and the veggies grew. To help the seeds, you can place them in a humid plastic bag, in a warm dark place for three to four days before seeding.

@marguicha What you said about the archaeologists is true, I used some seeds that I found in my mom's apartment, they surely came from the house of my grandmother. I grew beautiful Four O' Clock flowers from those seeds.

It's nice to have vegetables in the garden. It is so rewarding during the harvest.

Good luck with your vegie planting. I might go to the hardware shop on Friday to try to get some seedlings.

@marguicha I suppose that could happen. I don't think that will be the case here. There does seem to be plenty of food and plenty of farmers, market gardeners, etc, continuing the supply.
