Hi everyone...

United Kingdom
April 7, 2020 3:49pm CST
I feel like I'm a bit lost at the moment trying to do a million and 1 things at a time, this lockdown is crazy and definitely the change in our normal routine has completely knocked me sideways, since my partner has been home more and not had really any days of work it's strange and the kids sleeping patterns since the clocks changed has been all over the place, I am still here and will try to respond to all your discussions when I can. I really hope you are all well and having a nice day/evening and night. Hugs to you all

I hope he hasn't been making unnecessary demands on you. Yeah, I have had a lovely-ish, day/evening night, day/evening night, day/evening night, since you were last here.

@lgm92881719 No maybes about it. It's another nice day up here in the frozen north, but I think I'll risk it and strip down to my string vest and bermuda shorts for the afternoon. I've spotted that you're from Essex. And you told me you weren't blonde. Hmmm. Anyway, have a lovely day. Missing you already!

@Orson_Kart aww Oh dear not a string vest and I'm trying to imagine the shorts are they flowery lol glad youve got a nice day, it's quite nice here also. Yep your definitely stalking me lol I'm 100% not blonde, I've got dark brown hair, just cause I'm from Essex don't mean I have to be blonde (stereotypical) haha I'm joking . I'm having a good day so far thank you, and I miss you too

The lockdown is whats going to stop many of us dying. I can imagine that your normal routine has been knocked sideways. But for now this is the new normal. The sooner we all get used to it, the better.

I'm obviously aware of that and it's good that we all do our part. I'm slowly getting used to it but not so easy for kids who have had everything they are used to so dramatically changed they don't understand what's going on, so it's not a case of getting used to it but more about adjusting people keep going on like this will last forever but it won't there have been worse things that generations before us have been through.

@JimBo452020 its good that they are adjusting to the changes well and are so knowledgeable . I only have 2 but my youngest is 9 months so hes not really bothered but my little girl is nearly 3 and doesn't understand why we can't do the things we used to or planned, as we were going to go to the zoo and stuff but can't for a while now. I'm in Essex, where are you? Hope you and your family are well.

@lgm92881719 I was amazed at just how well the kids around us are coping with the changes. They all seem very knowlegeable on whats going on. They seem to be adjusting well given the circumstances. Mind you, the youngest are about 8 and have older siblings so that must be a help. I would imagine that younger children would find it more difficult. Where about are you?

Hugs to you. I’m enjoying the new stay at home, but then again, my kids don’t live with us anymore.

Aww thank you, hugs back to you. Staying at home is good I'm slowly getting things done it's just hard that the kids don't understand why we can't do the things we used to or had planned but I think the hardest part has definitely been my partner not having work he isn't really a stay at home person so it's been more difficult for him to adjust than me :-) I hope you and your family are well

@lgm92881719 A schedule would be good for the kids, although I don’t know how old they are. Your husband is another story

Your children are quite small, aren't they? It must be pretty difficult I'm sure. Sending positive thoughts and hugs.

@lgm92881719 Some zoos have webcams which you can watch. Maybe your little girl would like that. It must be so hard for the little ones.

Yeah nearly 3 years old and a 9 month old, it's my little girl who is more confused cause she wanted to go to the zoo but she doesn't understand why she can't so it's hard seeing her upset . Thank you I hope you and Vince are well hugs for you
