Our dinner party is expanding. I wrote earlier about us having a dinner party for Vince on his birthday on Saturday. However, there was to be just the two of us. Now I think there might be eight people which will be really special.
Anna (@LadyDuck) had the brilliant idea of ‘joining’ us and she and her husband will be lunching at 1pm which is our 7pm. They will be having a similar menu and will drink Vince’s health. When we mentioned this to Vince’s brother, they decided to join us on Zoom. I think they’re having the same menu too although I’m not sure of that. Damian in Ireland will have a meal at the same time but they’re vegetarian.
Who would have thought, a year ago, that Vince’s next birthday would be celebrated in this way? It was unimaginable at the time.

We're hoping to do something similar for Easter. Technology has given us so many tools for working around the social distancing thing. It isn't the same, but it's better than nothing.
