Afternoon Rain

We started the day with sunny skies and warm temps. Then this afternoon it started to rain. One of those light but continuing rains. The temps are still nice but the rain chased me back into the house. I am just chilling out in the house and watching some videos about history, I just watched a special on Apollo 13. It was very interesting and educational. Have you seen the movie Apollo 13? They were saying it is very honest to the actual mission. How have you been doing this week, seems like things are not really getting better but not really getting worse from where I am. Perhaps it's just cause I have cut down on watching and reading the news and I am hiding away in my home. I guess I am just waiting for things to get back to normal as much as we can be "normal" again.

I've been avoiding the news as much as I can. I catch snippets of the COVID response address each day, but that's about it. This week has been alright. I've started watching more television, reading a little more in some areas and a little less in others otherwise things haven't really changed much for me. Well, with the exception that I'm going nowhere other than to the grocery store and back.

Sounds about right. If I don't really have a reason to go out I just stay in and find something to do.

@Bensen32 Even before this, i didn't go many more places than possibly the thrift store and out to eat. Now that I'm not able to, I really really want to go out. That's just the way it is though.

@ScribbledAdNauseum LOL, yea, I was not much for going to places other than where I really needed to go. Well except for the forest preserve and camping but not around people so not much has changed for me except no work.

Yes, I think it was a good movie and somewhat educational in a way.

It strikes me as odd, although it shouldn't, that Apollo 13 is now considered 'history'.

We started off with rain over night and early this morning. But it turned into a chilly windy half sunny day by noon.

Oh we had rain over night and then sun then rain and now chilly temps with the rain. We are suppose to have cooler temps the rest of the week too.

It's best to stay away from all the negativity and contradictive fear mongering news that serves no purpose.

Agree, I try to avoid as much as possible, that is why I have not been watching the news to much.
