A Good Light is Important for Our Eyes

Hanging strawberry plant

Yes, it does. Last night I was in the middle of my writing on Hubpages when the light was off. The bulb in our living room chandelier has ended its life. It was annoying as I was not finished writing yet. So I had to use our emergency flashlight which is chargeable. This afternoon, my husband and I had to go to the hardware to buy bulbs. I also bought flower pots as I have to repot the strawberry plant in a bigger pot. This is the first time I am planting strawberry and it will be a hanging strawberry. I am already looking forward to the hanging strawberry fruits in summer. Anyway, that was the last time I have to go out this week. I find it dangerous out there as I have seen a lot of people not wearing face masks. How was or is your Thursday? I hope as well as mine if not, better. Thank you for reading.

I'm sorry the lightbulb went out on the chandelier. I'm glad you were able to get new ones this morning and a new pot for your strawberry plant. So far, it's a good day.

@thelme55 Sorry that happened! I am glad you also got yourself a strawberry plant! I'm excited for you too. I've never grown my own strawberries before but I'm sure it's awesome to watch them grow and then eat them! Hope you have a great day! I'm just MyLotting and watching Netflix.

@thelme55 I can understand. Well I'm glad you were able to get this since you can't go buy them elsewhere. Thank you kindly.

This is the first time I grow strawberry @VivaLaDani13. I usually go to a strawberry farm and harvest it for myself and of course, I pay for them. This time, I will not be able to do that. Have a great day, too. I am mylotting for an hour before I go to my other writing site. Thank you.

Stay inside if people do not wear masks, it is mandatory here now, you cannot go inside the stores without.

@thelme55 I have not noticed that here, but all our stores are closed except the grocery stores and it is mandatory to wear a mask to get in.

@LadyDuck the hardwares are also open here maybe because there are Germans who are renovating their homes in time of self-isolation.

They were only a few who were wearing masks but my husband and I were wearing them and also wearing gloves. I am glad that no one except my husband came near me in the hardware or I have to cough to keep them away from me. That is the positive thing for me as an Asian nowadays as they are afraid to be near me in the shop.. I have noticed that. Thank you and have a nice evening @LadyDuck

It’s still morning here. We always keep extra lightbulbs in our pantry for different lights and lamps. I’d love to have a hanging strawberry plant. I haven’t left my house in weeks.

@DianneN that is good. I would not do that, too. It is scary now in your country.

We usually have extra lightbulbs at home but it seems we forgot the last time since we keep on traveling before to my home country. Of course, you can have a hanging strawberry plant @DianneN. You can put it in your lanai. I intend to not go out for 2 weeks if I have no mood to go out walking.

This is where it's normal for us. This is where light bulbs die every day, which is why every house has a spare few.

It is very expensive to change the bulbs every day @Nevena83. The one we have bought today costs 10€ and we have bought 2.

@Nevena83 Really? We bought the Osram bulbs. You have cheap bulbs there. That was I think the cheapest bulbs that we have bought yesterday.

@thelme55 always have good light when you paint your pots, take it from me, the best light when we paint is sunlight or a bulb that is close to it so you can see the true colors of what you are painting

Here, only one person from a household can enter stores. The only exceptions are single parents with kids. Nothing much going on here today. Just a relaxing sunny day.

Your strawberry plant looks so healthy. Soon you'll enjoy the fruits. People not wearing masks are not afraid of the virus; hope they are not carriers!
