Do you ever read more than one book at a time?

I actually have 3 going now, in various stages of reading, although I don't even read everyday, so this is going to take some time. One of them is relegated to the car, to read if I am somewhere that doesn't have wifi. I might bring it it, though if I ever finish the ones I am reading now, The Ragged Edge of Night, and You by Caroline Kepnes. The car book is one by John Grisham but I don't remember th name right now.

I have one on the computer, and one on Kindle, and one is a traditional book.

@LadyDuck Friend has an enormous computer screen, but he also uses to it watch TV so it is justified. Do you ever watch TV On yours, or do you just use it for computing?

@snowy22315 I do not have a Kindle, in bed I only read traditional books and during the day my computer is all the time turned on and I like my very big screen.

@snowy22315 I noticed I have been doing that lately (without knowing a thing, until I reached the last few pages! )

Yes, he is very talented, although some of his books are on the long side. At least he hasn't taken to writing drivel like S. King has done.

@snowy22315 I don't like Stephen King. He bores me.
A Painted House was one of his books I read.
I think this is one of the few books if not the only one with no court drama.

Have you seen "You", the TV show based on that book? I only read one book at a time now, but as a teenager I'd have five going on at one time. I just inhaled books, and a lot at the same time.
I keep a magazine in my car to read while I'm waiting at a doctor office, or in the drive thru line at the pharmacy.

Yes, that is what got me interested in the book. Season 1 was amazing, I really don't like season 2 much at all, but hoping the 3rd season might be better.

I have in the past, but it's always been a shorter book versus a longer one. I generally like reading books from the same genre so I tend to just read one book at a time. Here lately, however, I've been wanting to read a book from the thriller genre and on from the mystery genre so I might end up starting a few.

I don't really set out to do it, sometimes I get bored with one book, and another one seems better.

I do. I usually like to have one long in-depth one going as well as a couple of easier reads.

I just pick things that appeal to me. I read one on the Kindle that was good, and a very fast read..

I do it all the time, usually one paperbound book, and one on my e reader. Tonight, I am going to settle down with tea and Jan Karon's _A New Song._
