Didn't get to see Elton John in concert last night but got to see Billy Joel

Yesterday was supposed to have been my Elton John concert at Barclays Center. I was really bummed about the fact that it was not to be due to the pandemic. But then I got a notification on FB that there will be a Billy Joel concert at Shea Stadium streaming in the evening on Billy Joel's page. I love him as well, so decided I was gonna watch that. While I didn't get to see Elton John in concert I got to see Billy Joel in concert via FB and that was a good substitute. Though there were connection issues. Many times the stream would freeze. Frustrating but still enjoyable.

@lovebuglena Does he have a 3-CD greatest hits collection now? When I bought his greatest hits many, many years ago, it was just a 2-CD set! lol

Yep. And I hate when the video would freeze up but better than nothing. I don't have any of his individual albums but I do have a set of his hits. I think it's a 3 CD set.

I would love to see Elton John, at a live concert. We saw Lionel Richie two years ago, it was great!

Thankfully, his concert will be rescheduled. Just don't know for when. And hopefully that will not change and it will actually happen.

I know Elton recently live streamed a concert because he had to cancel his tour... you might be able to find a copy of it online.

I did not know that. Unless you are talking about iHeart Radio thing... with many artists.

I'm glad you got to see Billy Joel; but Elton John is still #1 with me...right up there with the Beatles.

I saw Billy Joel at MSG ones with hubby. It was an awesome concert. But I remember tickets were expensive. I think I got resell tickets then as that was all that was available at the time. It was close to $400 for two or slightly over. Don't remember the exact amount.
