More shopping notes

I told you about Aldi. Next I went to Sam's. Not too much different, except they were sanitizing the carts. The greeter noted that I had a membership card from a large distance. There were areas chained off at the front to direct traffic, but not when you got into the store. Out of toilet paper, completely. Out of many store brand items--like dish washer tabs. No alcohol. I guess I could have gotten some vodka next door. Still plenty of things for me to spend my money on. I did not look for things like Lysol wipes, I do not need them. Bought what I needed, main item was Mucinex, as I take it all the time. White vinegar, cat litter. Next to Kroger in El Dorado. Dillons is our Kroger store, an employee sanitized my cart of choice before he would let me have it. I got some meat and cheese and frozen veggies. Found some real bargains. They had two brands of toilet paper, but I do not need it. I got a free store brand of peanut butter. From there we went to Braum's, a regional dairy store. Milk there is good and much less costly than in the store. Hubby needed a cherry limeade, and theirs are great. Of all my shopping Aldi seemed to be the store doing the most to keep people safe. It was the one place I saw face shields for the cashiers. They are supposed to be coming to Dillons soon. The shopping day made me tired, but I feel very glad to have gotten that done.
