Good Voice

I just watched this video and thought how is she not a bigger star? She has in my opinion, a very good voice. This is her covering the song "I put a spell on you" which was originally written, composed and performed by "Screaming Jay" Hawkins in 1956. The song has been covered by many over the years. Putting their own twist on it, many having big hits with the song. A few that have covered it over the years include people/bands like Nina Simone - 1965 The Alan Price Set - 1966 Creedence Clearwater Revival - 1968 Dee Dee (Anna Dekkers) - 1978 Katie Melua - 2004 And so many more I can't list them all. The song was listed at 313 on Rolling Stones Magazines top 500 songs of all time. So back to the original question, why is she not a bigger star? My guess is she might be in her genre, Adult Contemporary. Since I am not a big fan of this music I don't know. I know she has a good voice.

Yes, she has a great voice and the bands is amazing. Maybe, she needs more exposure. The video has over 8 million views so who knows what may yet happen.

Well its kind of an old video. I did a little research and found that she has at least 2 greatest hits albums out and seem a lot of her videos are well over a million views so some people know about her.

I went to watch the CCR version and hers is so much better. So, she is famous after all.
