Well, I have been on MyLot since 7:30 this morning and have yet to get any sleep; so I think it's time I call it a day. I'm all caught up with Discussions, Notifications and posting.
The temps went up to 50 degrees today (10 Celsius); and all of the s**w melted. (That's "snow" to those of you that don't know of my distaste for the wicked white stuff.)
I really can't believe that they opened the beaches in Jacksonville, Florida, for the weekend. Well, we shall see.
Stay safe and healthy; and I will see you again on Sunday.

Hope you can put your sn*w shovel away for another year!
As for the beaches, you're right, we'll see. That's an amazing gamble to take, and what troubles me is the people who will NOT pay attention to the rules (as opposed to the people who will, for whom it's perfectly safe to open).

They showed video of one of the beaches on the news; and they weren't practicing safe distancing.

Wow, that is a long time to be awake! Hope you get some rest. That's good the white stuff melted....I despise it too.

We have had summer temps here in the south for a few weeks. This little cold snap at Easter was okay since the temps were in mid 70's during the day. I'm glad your snow melted, let Spring begin for you! I have been enjoying working in the yard with the mild temperatures so far.

@LindaOHio That's a bad move. I hope they will not be affected by this killer virus.

They already did. They had a film on the news of all the people on one of the beaches. Bad idea.

You are too kind. I love Irish Wolfhounds. They are the largest breed but gentle as kittens. I would never have one though. Much too large!

@DocAndersen I love those dogs. Years ago we had a great Pyrenees that would roam the neighborhood. It looked like a small horse. I remember 2 Newfies. One belonged to my husband's uncle. He would carry a roll of paper towels for the drool. The other one was in a vet's office. Her name was Sophie; and she was as soft as cotton. Beautiful dog.
