@marlina We moved to Monte Carlo in February 1975, 4 years after we got married. We left Monte Carlo to come to live here in Switzerland at the end of June 2006. We already had this home, that was a "vacation home". The years from 1975 up to 1990 were beautiful years in Monte Carlo, a fairy place where to live.

@LindaOHio Kurt isn't even really her stepfather because he and Goldie never made it legal.

@JohnRoberts True. That amazes me that they stayed together all those years and didn't get married. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I remember when the Simpsons first aired as shorts on the Tracey Ullman Show. I was instantly hooked! I've been watching the show ever since it got its own time slot. I can't believe the Simpsons is still going strong after so many decades! It's still a ratings hit for the Fox network.

@LindaOHio Yes, they do push the envelope a lot. I'm generally pretty conservative myself, but I grew up watching the show so I am used to their antics.

I must be conservative because I'm always shocked at that show.
