Fog on our horizon

Today is a sunny day, but it rained all day yesterday. So as the sun grows brighter, we have fog on the horizon. I may put off my activity until it burns off.
At some point I should go itemize some more things in the room I am inventorying at school. While in that town I will also go to Dollar General for more cat food and supplies. I do not like making extra trips.
The fogginess and low visibility has moved closer to me while I have been online. At first it was just across the edge of the field, but now it is billowing in to my front yard.
Since it is not mandatory for me to drive in it, no deadlines, I am choosing not to go yet. My route crosses at least one river and is also prone to having wildlife, especially deer come out to cross the road. No point in taking chances.
Because the ground is so saturated I will not be mowing the lawn today. It rained all day yesterday.
Our predicted high is 78F today.
I bet we will have a big crop of mosquitoes.

We aren't allowed in our school building still.

We are allowed, but no kids, and not many at a time. They prepare meals for the kids and sack them up and the kids come curb side or they take a load to our town. Custodial and maintenance is there. We go in one or two at a time. I believe after April 27 we will not be allowed in. Not sure.

I like days like that, really. I am pretty sure we have more humidity than you do though.

Yesterday the weather was nice, but my commitments were kind of scattered. It made the day really odd.

Some people have had them off and on all winter, just not too badly.

I found myself wishing I had gone early, just to get my day going.

@GardenGerty I prefer going early myself. You get it over and done with then.

I do not know that they spray in this town. I use a homemade mosquito repellant and then try to grow lots of lemon scented plants to repel them.

@GardenGerty That's a good idea. I never knew lemons repelled mosquitoes.

I can see so far out my front windows, it is really amazing to watch the clouds move over and then pass by later.
