He says he was being sarcastic. We don't care what he was “being”. We care what he was saying. We also care what he was NOT saying but we still heard him.
We heard … or at least I heard … a man is who is really indignant that people just won't accept his words as gospel truth and they actually want the words coming out of his mouth to be confirmed by knowledgeable people who can VERIFY!!
This is all about “being” a dictator with absolute power. Since he's The ONLY person who can “make America great”, he just can't understand why he would be getting PUSHBACK FROM FREE-THINKING PEOPLE!!
If anybody asks me about my statements, I'll just say “I don't know him”. That's always his standard answer.
No I don't know him. But I got an opinion!
Question is: Is my opinion a FACT?
I don't have to call names. Don't act like you don't know who I'm talking about. If he's reading this I'll bet knows who I'm talking about.

I try not to look. But how can a responsible citizen ignore it? And I hate to do comparisons but I do! For example, I keep thinking "I'm glad I'm not in Brazil." I feel bad for thinking that too. Those poor Brazilian people. I'm like "Oh I wish this was all FAKE NEWS!" But it's not.

@DianneN - My son visited Brazil a few years back and shared some fun photos of his trip. I'm so glad he is not over there right now. It brings a new meaning to the expression "Timing is everything!"

@cmoneyspinner Unfortunately, it is very real news.
I met many wonderful, wonderful people in Brazil, who I worry about.

@cmoneyspinner Bolsonaro has been a real idiot, he met people just to prove that the virus was nothing serious and now people are dying in his country and they do not even have enough hospital rooms to help them.
You are right about leaders, they should think twice before being a bad example, there are still people who trust the leaders... I do not know how this is possible, but some do.

His new slogan for the next election is "Keep America Great"
Great when it comes to catching outbreaks?

@cmoneyspinner With all the standouts at the democratic debate, I am sad you end u with Biden. Why do Americans loves putting themselves in the lesser of 2 evils scenario. I hope an Independent will manage to make the impossible.

Our nation has gone through an outbreak before. Thailand learned from their SARS outbreak. We should have either learned from our own history or copy what Thailand did.

Trump needs to learn "Healey's First Law of Holes". This was stated by Dennis Healey - a former UK Labour politician - as "When you are in a hole, stop digging".
Trump will always dig deeper when he is caught out having made a mistake. He will do everything he can to pretend that no mistake has been made, and therefore make things worse.
When elected, he made great play of the fact that he was not a politician, and that he was therefore in a great position to "drain the swamp". However, there are certain political skills that are well worth learning if you seek to be a leader - what a pity that Trump is incapable of learning anything.

I have no argument with anything you said. Maybe his kids know different. But I like that Healey quote. It bears repeating.

No no. People are "agreeing" to try to keep their jobs. In case you haven't noticed, he likes to fire people! I think he still thinks he's in his old reality TV show.
Folks figure a president only last 4 years, maybe 8 years. They probably had their jobs before he became president and they are hoping to have their jobs when he's gone! If they can just figure out how to "dance" around him, they might be able to save their jobs and their retirement. If they "agree" to his lame defense that he was being "sarcastic" and major brand name companies like Lysol WARN PEOPLE ... hopefully nobody will be ignorant enough to do it and nobody will DIE!
That's why we pray!
