As usual, news are not good even though it is too early to give the latest news of the corona virus. The only good thing is the beauty of the blue sky of the city now that there are no cars and buses around. I have heard about the day of Planet Earth these days and I am worried about the drought we have here for several years now. I remember many years ago that we went with my husband to a natural lagoon near Santiago (the Aculeo lagoon). All around it, there were people who grew flowers for export. I don“t know what happened to those people but the water is not there any longer. I hope that this virus that has made us realize that we are all together in this will make us try to help our home-planet too. Good morning, friends.

Pollution has been less in a lot of countries due to the plants being shut down.

I know. I have seen beautiful pictures from other countries. But the drought in my country is another problem. Water is important.

@LindaOHio I hope so. Part of our exports depend on rain.

We have been and still are killing this planet, it is very sad that we as a people think every thing is fine. "It's not my problem" attitude is going to keep killing this planet.

It is terrible. In this particular situation I tell about, while the lagoon was there nobody understood that they should use better the water that was there. Those people could have watered their plants in a better way by just using their heads and technology.

Sadly some people are too stupid to realize that "we should all be together"

It is incredible. And more so because there is stupidity among the powerful.

I've seen before and after images of skies and landscapes. Clear proof of how a growing consumerism is destroying the eco-system. Hopefully, our leaders will realize that there are better lifestyles that are less harmful to the environment.
