I´m cooking human food for Luna.

In these days when I have too much time and don´t want to lose anything, I have decided to cook and give Luna some almost human food. I say almost because I am one of the few people in this planet that have never been hungry. A long time ago, when Misty was my dog-friend, there came a time when she was old and almost dying. The vet told me if it would be too boring to make real food for Misty instead of the normal pellets she had eaten all her life. And I would have done anything for her He then gave me recipes and I discovered that I could mix a lot of ingredients that we normally throw away. Now, for other reasons, I cook for Luna some days. And today it is one of these days. I will make again a zucchini and carrot pudding so the peelings will go to a rice for Luna. I will dice them finely just in case she does not like them. I will cook the rice in the water where I have cooked some veggies. The water is clean as I wash everything before paring them. The last time I made the rice (in a half cup of rice with a few dried worms from the flour moths), Luna was very happy. If I did not have rice, I would just wash it and eat it myself. But as it is, Luna will be happy. And I will give her less dog food for a couple of days.

I don't think dogs here would eat rice or vegetables, just meat.

We also give our dog human food. He has his own food (dry dog food) but sometimes he gets the leftovers from our food.It depends what kind of food it is, there are some kinds of food he can't eat. We don't waste much food. Our dog gets some of the food we didn't eat, and the rabbits gets the carrots or other vegetables.

@marguicha Our dog eats almost everything too. I avoid the things he can't eat, but he not very picky when we give him something. He likes most kinds of food.

I'm sure Luna will love almost-human food and I guess it ends up cheaper than bought food.

I´m sure it will be cheaper because I am using some food I would have wasted otherwise.
