The spray of the Waterfall

The falls are behind us, hiding in the spray of water

'Glorious, amazing, majestical, are but a few of the words to describe how it sounds, feels, looks. Feels ... because it sprays a thunderous amount of water that has fallen to the bottom and leaps back up to wet everything, like summer rain.' My photo depicts how wet we got every time we walked the long pathway on the edge of the falls. quite exhilarating to start one's morning with such a walk.

@Inlemay Ah gotcha. I spend most of my time in birks or something like it. My feet need a hard formed heel

I was surprised too, however, I had worn other shoes the day before and I slipped all over the show, luckily not over the gorge. ha ha Eventually I was walking bare feet - hoping no snakes or wet spiders found my feet because you have to concentrate where you walk to every viewpoint. these actual flip flops are JEEPS and held the surface quite well.

After visiting these, I understand the power of water a little more. It was a noise I will never forget - A Thundering drumming of water, all the time - you can hear it miles away

@Inlemay I have visited a high waterfall in Italy, the noise is almost disturbing and I could not get too close, I fear water, is a phobia.

There certainly looks a lot a spray. You both look pretty damp.
