A Nine-Month-Old COVID-19 Victim in My City: How SAD? :-(

The newest case confirmed to be infected in my city is a nine-month-old baby. I cannot control myself not to feel bad. How can this baby endure the pain? That's the reason why I don't want to watch local news lately. The baby is too young to handle this virus.
How sad is it to handle this coronavirus?
How would you feel about this concern?
Let's pray for this bay to recuperate fast and be healthy.
Thank you for your prayers.

I hate to think that the virus is mutating

There was already a report last March that says, scientist found two strains of the Covid-19 virus. But the one spreading is a more aggressive strain than the older strain. Thus the one spreading is already a mutated strain.

@jrlcentral yeah and it use to be that infants and younger people were somewhat spared. It's suppose to be more likely to mutate to a weaker strain or non harmful to humans since it's an RNA virus

@jrlcentral Yes it is, many young children are now affected both in Italy and here in Switzerland.

That is so sad. I am sure a young one like that wonders what is going on with her. We have had babies die of it and older younger ones too and they tell the elderly to stay inside. I know someone that told me someone they know had it and how horrible it is. I work very hard to stay away from people and they do not get it or do not care or say they are not afraid. Well, I am and I have to make it home safe and sound to my cat and not let her get sick. I hope the baby will get better.

This is sad. This is why social distancing is highly necessary. Also, everyone must be aware, that if a healthy person is exposed to the virus, but does not show any symptoms, that person can spread the virus to other people.
Perhaps this is how this baby got infected. (This is just my speculation)
