The end

Today is just about over. I only had one school related webinar.
It seems a lot of my day was online.
I called my brother because I have not talked with him for a while and not heard how my dad is doing. He is doing okay. So is my brother. Sister-in-law's work is picking back up.
My daughter-in- law called me, for my address and to chat a bit. She will go back to work Monday. Hannah, her daughter, had to have a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday and is very swollen. Traci and Vince have had baby duty caring for Paisley.
Hubby has had to do a couple of things. The other day and night when we had so much wind, one of our hot water heaters blew out. We have two because this used to be a duplex. He had to read the directions and light it again.
We had not heard from the guy about our truck, so we took a little drive to the town where he has his shop. Wow, I am glad we did. In my mind I thought he was a junker or shade tree mechanic, but I am impressed. He has a nice sized shop that he opened last year. Clean and neat looking.
He has looked into our needed repairs, and although our truck is too new for the parts he has on hand he thinks he can find what we need and it is less extensive than we thought it would be. He says he is on track to be done a week from today. He really stays busy.
I planted out some of my herbs and veggies.
I cooked the pot roast, it never tastes as good as mom's. Dishes have been washed since I now have hot water.
I was able to redeem my Swag Bucks for a Lowe's gift card. So I am pleased with that.
See you all tomorrow, I think I am going to relax.

wisdom tooth removal is a PAIN, I had to have a second surgery, because after having one out, it was not healing right

She is not healing very fast. I never had that much trouble with any of my extractions.

@Jessicalynnt Do other injuries heal slowly? Are you diabetic?

Saturday was great. I will have church online today. Twice, because my brother has also gone online with his services and devotions.

@AmbiePam He is uneasy about being "on air". He will not do "live streaming" Keeping apart they have a young lady who does some parts of the service from her home. One of the little kids who is growing up in our church read the memory scripture this week. She also read the Easter Story for Easter Sunday. So they video all of this and someone in their little church puts it all together in a kind of slide show. The worship leader plays an introductory hymn and a closing hymn. Sometimes sings on camera.

I'm sure your mom used to say that her pot roast wasn't as good as her mom's! lol I'm sure your pot roast tasted absolutely delicious!

The flavor is good. The meat is so much leaner now, it does not come out as tender. I will grind up the beef into a meat spread. The veggies and broth actually make a great "soup". I know it is the fact that this roast had almost no fat at all and none in the muscle.

@GardenGerty That is true, our meat nowadays is so much leaner. And full of antibiotics and preservatives and who knows what else they put in there. In the olden days, the meat they used was pure and delicious (and full of fat! lol).

Our previous house was a converted up and down duplex. We had two there as well. I did not realize this one had blown out until I ended up in a cold shower. Not fun.

@GardenGerty I’m sure it wouldn’t be very pleasant.
We were in a hotel somewhere when it ran out of hot water. Our stay was free!

That used to be a fairly common way to describe small time, small town mechanics. It was a good day. I love to stay busy.
