Thanks to donations, Osceloa County deputies deliver groceries to seniors

What I like about a couple in Osceola County Florida is that they showed concern for the senior citizens who live in the county by making a donation of gift cards to a Publix grocery store without wanting any credit for doing their good deed for the world to see.
The gift cards were then given to deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. With the assistance of the Council Of Aging, the deputies then were given instructions from Sheriff Rus Gibson to pick up the basic needs at the store and have them delivered to around 150 senior citizens who cannot travel to Publix or any grocery store since the Coronavirus is still around.
When the groceries were delivered to the homes of the senior citizens, I am sure that the customers were happy to have their basic needs met by the deputies.
I have learned that deputies are doing their part to serve their communities by doing grocery shopping work as part of their oath to serve and protect.

That's so wonderful! Locally though different, Seniors too are getting much needed food. Distribution from food bank too, for displaced working people, free masks for those who can't afford them and fund raising for front line supplies going in and who knows what tomorrow will bring!

That is wonderful of them, I am going to have to order groceries soon I sure wish someone would give me free groceries now that I am receiving SS benefits.
