(That's French for What a pity, in case you don't know)
Anyway...
I bought a small pan of nanaimo bars from the grocery store and was salivating all the way home. But when I had one last night I was sorely disappointed.
You know that creamy layer in the middle? Well, creamy it was not. It was rather granular, like table sugar.
But maybe that was a blessing in disuise as I would have eaten them all at once and made myself sick if they were really, really good.

@JWMILLER Oh, I thought you were glad that I didn't eat it all and make myself sick. Works either way,

Oops! Fixed it. Don't know why I didn't notice such a glaring typo.

@BarBaraPrz I thought you wrote it differently, here in the south of Switzerland they speak Italian, but they write some words a bit differently than we do in Italy.

I am not familiar with those. I will have to look them up. I likely still would eat them all. I am a sugar addict.

I had never had those but I am sure I would love them.
