"Do YOU feel being DEPRIVED of breathing FRESH AIR?"

Whenever I go out and buy something in the public market, I am feeling deprived of breath normally. For the reason that I am using a face mask. Coronavirus is really affecting our lives and the freedom to breathe is starting to be deprived. What are your thoughts about the deprivation of breathing fresh air? Image Credit: img.webmd.com

It beats inhaling the virus.

I am like that, too. It is not a nice feeling. At least I can get the mask off when I am outside the shop.

You are lucky not to use a face mask outside the shop. If I do this, the policemen will catch me here. It is not a good feeling and tired of gasping air while going out and back home.

NO, I can breath fresh air in my garden and I know that at lease I am safe there. Better to wear a mask than to get the virus, I really have no problems with the mask.

@LadyDuck It is also the same thing here, my friend. Recently, a politician was arrested because of going out that is not the right schedule.

If I am at home, there is nothing to worry about. I can deal without wearing a face mask. I sometimes hang out at my balcony and enjoy the fresh air. Going out with a face mask is just what I am whining about. However, I don't make a big fuss about it because I need to do it to stay safe.

I'm happy to protect myself and other people. Also, masks help us with pollen allergies.

I do agree with you. I anticipate that wearing a face mask will be adapted to people's lives now and in the future.

It's OK or better than inhaling the virus itself. Yes, I don't like it also.

I also noticed in my city, too. Since I am living on the mountain, I can have fresh air. The only thing that I was deprived of it when walking around the neighborhood with a face mask.

Exactly how I feel my eldest in England complains a lot but I said at least you are not forced to wear that awful thing round your face that makes you too hot and stuffy in the nose. I am also bothered about what kind of stuff that mask is made of too who knows does not say on the packet and it should do. I take it off my face and put it back on when I get to the main street and then the gloves again.

@Shavkat We are being forced to wear them and that is really how it is otherwise you have to put that stuff on your hands and then plastic gloves on top otherwise you are not allowed into the food shops which are the only things that are open at the moment.

We are not using gloves here. I think it is advisable. However, we don't have them that much. The local government encouraged us to let the frontliners use them instead. It is really not a comfortable thing to use but we need to use them,

It’s a needed safety measure. There is still plenty of ability to breath in the fresh air in your yard, on your patio, or in a public park while practicing social distancing.

You said it right. I always spend time on my balcony every day. I just only feel discomfort when going out and buy things in the market.

@Lolaze At first, I use two face masks when going out. But then, I really cannot breathe. So I only use one and keep doing social distancing. Lately, I don't go to a big supermarket. For the reason that some people don't do social distancing and keep on talking with me.

@Shavkat I’ve actually taken up wearing two masks. I read the more layers the better so I wewt a disposable one and a cloth one over it. Breathing sucks! Just walking through a grocery store has me out of breath and sweating - but I’d rather deal with that than the virus.

I can always have fresh air around our house; no need for face mask because nobody's round; and I do not go out(to the grocery) because I do not have a quarantine pass.

@Shavkat You are very right what you said when one is outside and having to wear a face mask. I have a porch so I can sit on it without a mask on and get fresh air. I know not everyone has a porch to sit on to get fresh air.

@Shavkat I wear my mask and gloves when I throw out the garbage too. I believe that bully is out on his porch and would report me if I did not wear my mask and cause me to have to pay a fine. I need every little bit of money we have. I hate having to wear both and going out. Nice to have a balcony isn't it?

I also do the same thing. I am always at my balcony and enjoy the cold breeze in the morning. The discomfort will only be felt when walking to the public market with a face mask from home and vice-versa.

I don't like wearing a mask but I will to protect myself. I have severe COPD so I have to be super careful. I don't wear a mask when I am at home or at my sons taking care of my granddaughter. I have a mask in my vehicle at all times.

I think you really need to have a face mask. It is susceptible to be infected if you are having COPD. Please do have extra careful there.

I agree. When I went out last week, I bought washable face masks. I washed them before going to use them the next time I am going out.
