Trekkies and other things

Woke up twice early morning coughing and choking. Lets pray it's not the virus.
I was never a Trekkie until now 
My love for Kate Mulgrew has finally brought me to watching all them. Planning on going through them all eventually. So you might say I am a Trekkie .
Are you a Trekkie?
My first husband watched the original all the time. I would read or do house work etc. My oldest son watched all the later series and when I was around him some of the scenes would catch my eye and I would watch some.
Mulgrew is such a great actress. I watch everything she is in starting with Ryan's Hope many years back when the kids were little .It was my favorite soap opera.
She was "Red" in Orange is the New Black series. oh. and she played Captain Janeway in Star Trek Voyager
Anyway I finally got the electric bill, my oxygen bill, and rent paid up. Almost broke again but at least I can relax in knowing bills are paid again until next month 
Hope you all are staying safe and I am praying for us all.

I used to watch Ryan's Hope with my mom way back when . . . wow, I didn't realize this was her all this time! I'm not a full Trekkie but definitely a fan 
. Glad to hear the bills are at least paid . . . off the checklist

yes Kate Mulgrew payed Mary Ryan and was the first time I had seen a main character get killed off a series. a lot of people got really upset about it and since it was very early into the soap. and I never found out why. they did it.

@bunnybon7 I can't remember all the story lines, but yah, it's shocking and disappointing when they kill off the main characters . . . it's like a rug being pulled out from underneath you kinda thing

If you have Hulu you can watch star trek voyager from the beginning right now. and probably all the others. Of course that may be true with Netflix too. not sure

@bunnybon7 after the Next Generation my husband didn’t want to watch any more of the Star Trek shows. Maybe I’ll watch on my own.

I know her from OITNB. And almost met her in november when i was at comic con. But it costs too much for just her.

@bunnybon7 she is, i think mostly from oitnb. As yeah many older folk knew her from before but the young generation knows her from oitnb has so many was into that show.

Don't think that's a corona ...hope for good...but take warm water always it give relief from it...
If you have same symptoms for three days then contact your Doctor
