50th anniversary......

It's 50th anniversary of their grandparents. The twin boys who attend my Maths session in the afternoon called me to inform that. And they want a day off from their class. Seems like there was a grand celebration planned for that but then this pandemic ruined it. These boys plan to surprise their grandparents by throwing a small party with few family members. They will be busy cooking, baking and decorating. That will keep them busy in afternoon and so will not be able to attend my session. Well, that's a lot of excitement for sure and I appreciate these boy's effort to make the day special for their grandparents.. God bless them. 50 years of togetherness is a blessing in real sense and I am sure these grandparents will have their best anniversary party thrown my their young grandsons. So I am left with free one hour and I might take a nap or mylot or do something else. I will keep my plan open and spontaneous depending on my mood. Now it's almost time for my class and I have logged in. I am waiting for children to join and as soon as they are there, I will switch the window and move there.

@arunima25 Not only we live together for so many years, we also worked together. We are together 24 hours a day from 50 years, I cannot believe it!

@Hannihar That came as a blessing in this lockdown. Their family who visited them for few days got stuck for longer there. And I am sure they must be enjoying this time with their children and grandchildren. They actually stay alone for most part of the year.

50 years definitely calls for a grand celebration. But good that their grandchildren and few closed ones were there on this special day.

Very true! But parents have to develop that. We make sure that we visit our in laws and my mom's place every holiday and also my daughters video call both their grandmothers.

That’s nice that they want to do that for their grandparents. However, they may be putting them at risk. No celebrating anything here.

They had gone to visit their grandparents with their mom and are now stuck in their grandparents house since lockdown. They have not invited anyone. It's the family members who are staying with them. Seems few had come for a week but got stuck there. Good that they have some gathering within the house.

Yes they are quite fond of their grandparents. Next day I got a full report and seems the party turned out very well and the grandparents were very happy and emotional seeing the efforts of their grandchildren.

It's a pity they're missing their class but a 50th anniversary is pretty important I guess.

They were so excited and seemed so involved in the occasion. I guess love for family and elders is a great thing and a big education in itself.
