Good Morning/Afternoon, hope today finds you all well.
I am pretty happy about my sleep last night I ended getting about 6 and a half hours of sleep and I only woke up once in the middle of that.
I was just looking at some news and I came across this article of my home town, Chicago. Somethings don't change even in this Covid-19 time. They are still killing each other at record highs. We are suppose to be in a "stay-at-home" situation but that is not going to stop Chicago from killing each other.
They did slow a little bit though, they were only able to murder 56 people in April compared to 61 last year in April. The first weekend of May they got off to a decent start, killing 4 and wounding another 46.
New York by contrast, a city with a population almost three times that of Chicago, saw 31 homicides in April. Los Angeles, the second biggest city in the US, saw just 18 murders over a four-week period from late March.
Good job Chicago, you're really killing it. (pun intended)

@Bensen32 That's right, I know there are a lot of people from Poland but I didn't know they were focused on Chicago

I am glad you slept well. I think Chicago really needs to take a page from NYC. Maybe they need to send a taskforce from there to help out.

They certainly need to do something different than they have been. The police force is a reaction force. They come in after people get killed and pretty much collect up the bodies and move on. Sure doesn't seem like anything is being done about it.

That's so bad. Just when you thought things cannot get worse.

Good morning and glad you got a good nights sleep. I slept pretty good too
It's sad to hear that not even corona can stop the killings.

Hey, Chicago proves you can still kill wearing a mask and practicing social distancing!
