As per usual, I turn the TV on to watch some of the world news via BBC; SKY NEWS and CNN - we have our own African channel, but that I watch last. Europe is my most favourite place in the world (apart from home) and at the moment their numbers are rising again with what they call "a second wave". All I see is Mayhem and sadness, and a feeling 2020 has been lost to the world and a slight sense of anxiety overcomes me. I have resorted to reading the AA Creed of SERENITY each morning, to keep me sane. Give it a try when you are feeling lowly, it might help you too. Lockdown is killing my MOJO!

It's just awful, isn't it? Thankfully, Australia is doing as well as anywhere at the moment.

@JudyEv Yes I believe your borders are open for some travel - my friend from Belgium who was staying with her daughter in Sydney flew back to Belgium last week and is now in quarantine for 14 days in Belgium

@Inlemay Any new cases are coming in by plane or ship. They are going straight into quarantine in hotels so hopefully won't have a chance to spread the virus.

Italy is starting what they call "Phase 2" because the numbers are decreasing, same here, today most stores reopened.

@Inlemay Switzerland is not going to reopen the border to Italy for the moment. I can understand, I know my compatriots even too well.

We haven't finished the first wave yet because the graph is still high. Starting in June, however, several sectors will be opened in stages.

Millions of people all over the globe are feeling exactly like you do right now. We will never forget the year of 2020. Can you imagine if we had no internet, no TV, no radio, no newspapers right now, how we would know what's going on?

It sounds as though you are placing your trust in the right hands when it comes to learning the truth about world affairs.

I stopped watching and checking about what's happening. That makes it easier.

I also watch cable channels particularly Al Jazeera and France 24 aside from CNN. Have you seen the list of worldwide covid numbers? You can check worldometers.info in the internet.
