1858 - Minnesota is admitted as the 32nd state of the United States.
1910 - An act of Congress established Glacier National Park in Montana, United States.
1888 - Irving Berlin was born. He was an American composer and lyricist and considered to be one of the greatest songwriters in American history. He wrote an estimated 1,500 songs, including the scores for 20 original Broadway shows and 15 original Hollywood movies. Some of his most memorable songs: Alexander's Ragtime Band, Easter Parade, Puttin' on the Ritz, the blockbuster White Christmas, There's No Business Like Show Business and God Bless America. He died in 1989 at the age of 101.
1982 - Cory Monteith was born. He was a Canadian actor, singer and musician. He is best known for his role as Finn Hudson on Glee. He died in 2013 of a toxic combination of alcohol and heroin.

I remember After Hours and how it scared me the first time I saw it. It's the one in which the mannequins get to come to life for a time every year in that department store. Anne Francis played the lead role.

Twilight Zone was a must watch for me as a kid. Rod wrote over 80 episodes of the Twilight Zone.
The show featured a mix of horror, science-fiction, drama, comedy and superstition.
