Today is my scheduled time to explore the public market. I can see jeepneys in my city, but I refused to ride on it. For the reason that I am scared to sit with other people. My paranoia struck because of the social distancing concern. Thus, I decided to go on foot.
While walking, I suddenly felt sneezing. The road was quite dusty and I cannot control my sneeze reflex. Achoo! The people behind and in front of me ran away instantly.

Is coughing or sneezing a good prank to make the people ran away from us?

I can't believe you even ask that question, Shavkat!
You're a bad boy!

What? You tease about things?
I just said you're a bad boy, not that you were a nice or funny boy!

I am the same way. I had an appointment that I would have to take a bus to the place and thought how can I have this test done so changed it to August. I have to get something else and have not gotten it yet. I am very afraid to be by people. As it is I dodge them right and left when I go out and hate going out. I also do not want to sit next or even near anyone and would feel very helpless on a bus. You are not paranoid. I feel the same way. I am glad I am not alone in this feeling. I hate going out these days having to wear a mask and others not caring and not understanding someone that is afraid and they do not care. When all this first started before I started to wear a mask I was in a grocery store and someone sneezed and I got as far away as possible. People are worried. I would not call them pranks. Some will run away and others will not.

Prior to buying some raw goods in the wet market, I need to drop by a paying center for our bills. I cannot even sit still because a woman keeps on chatting with me and I do not look at her.
Personally, whenever someone sneezes or coughs in the public. I still move away from my face in the opposite direction while wearing my face mask. In fact, it is a protocol when I am still working as a Physiotherapist before.

Tempting, but not this time. Think about how you would react if someone would sneeze or cough near you?

@jrlcentral That's a nasty thing to do. This is the real truth though. When I was still working in China, I was advised by my foreign colleagues not to touch any rails in the city. For the reason that the local people spit anywhere.

@Shavkat I saw a video though. There was this man waiting at the bottom of the escalator. There was another man going down while talking on the phone, one of his hands is on the rail. As the second man nears the bottom, the first man started on the escalator going up. He 'sneezed' on his hands and immediately touched the first man's hand!
I can't describe the man's face after that. He kept looking at the first man even after he reached the bottom of the escalator. LOL.
But note, there seems to be no one else around.

When you sneeze you cannot control it in spite of what they say they tell you not to which is very silly as you will do the contrary anyway.
Same here people here a sneeza and its like what? Somebody sneezed.

People here are not taking any notice very much of anything and they are not wearing masks either.

@lovinangelsinstead21 In my city, we have an ordinance that people should wear them when going out now.

@Shavkat That is good you got some. We got one container of Lysol wipes that we take with us. At home I rely on a bleach solution and soap and water. And we hardly go anywhere. Less than once a week, just to one store and get what is available there.

@Lakshman15 That's what had happened in some parts of America. They think that they lost their freedom for having lockdown.
