We have had sun for part of the day. I have a lot of stuff that needs to be done outdoors, but I have been inside writing. I made a chicken salad for lunch and we will finish it for supper tonight, so that is taken care of. I have some lilacs to dig holes for and transplant. My daughter brought them to me about two years ago. I had given her her original starts. So the lilacs are my grandchildren. The tub I will move them out of will become a tomato planter, so wish me luck. The cold evenings affected some of the things I planted the last two weeks, but I believe they will survive if we keep on with the sun like today. I want to get out and get some sun as I feel I sleep better at night if I do so. I will have a chance to come back later, but as I am looking northward, I see huge clouds billowing up to bring us more rain.

They send up more plants from the roots. I think if you trim them back after they bloom they send up more.

Best of luck with the plants. Rain would be nice but I doubt we'll get any here.

If only @GardenGerty but who knows, maybe the clouds we're getting will provide a few drops

I did get some done. There is always more to do. I do not have to worry about becoming bored.

I think we are finally past the cold temperatures. I almost put my houseplants out too soon. One of the basils looks frost nipped so I trimmed it back.

It seems to be alternating, lots of thunderstorms and rain and then some sun.

We've been working in our garden too. Our corn seems to be coming up, and one zucchini plant is really thriving. We also have some baby bell pepper plants and some baby tomatoes. I see a lot of radish shoots coming up in the garden too, but I haven't seen much activity with our beans. I can't remember, do beans take a while to show?
