My home province were bracing for the typhoon which forecasters are sayin they would landfall in my province. But as it landfall on the first province near ours it suddenly curved downwards like it avoided my home province to be hit directly. I do not know if that is a divine intervention or what but it looks like that since amongst the provinces being ravaged by it looks like it avoided my home province. For that I am thankful for that blessing. As of now it is going Northbound and has landfall again in the next province after ours and is nearing my place in the north. I hope it does not hit my place here in the national capital region. I welcome the cool weather right now and things has been tolerable.

@LadyDuck We were given only a day of rainy days and the sun is also back in my place. Looks like we are back to where we are sunny summer days. Although the weather is not that bad yet as compared to the other days where heatwave is really that bad as it reaches 40 degrees centigrade.

That’s true. those that were hit directly has had much destruction in their places. I contacted my father back home and it looks like they are safe for now as the typhoon slightly pass them by so heavy rains and winds did pass them by but no major destruction.

@mrki444 yup we are in the midst of a very hot and dry summer. This is the first typhoon for this year that has landfall. I think the rains is just what we needed right now to replenish waters in the dam which has been reported losing water for the past days.

Stay safe from what's happening. Maybe once it clears up, we can have it better.

It's good that you and your province is safe. Hope the next landfall also passes without much damage.

As of now i just seen on the news that it hit hard on those places that hit them directly. Although there seems to be less casualties on people right now. I think because most people are staying at home due to the quarantine less people are hurt at this time. It is said the the typhoon will pass by my place later tonight.

@rsa101 Oh! Stay safe. Good that staying in home due to pandemic caused less damage to people.
