It just crossed my mind that from the past few weeks, we have been using this phrase more. When COVID19 happens, we need to stay safe. Then an earthquake happens so we have to stay safe. Now, there's a storm. Stay safe everyone!

I would say that the situation there is similar to that in Croatia and they had an earthquake in the middle of a pandemic

Stay safe has become the new term to be used instead of 'good-bye'.

@cherriefic You are right Cher people are saying that phrase a lot more often these days than they use to, There is an old sayiing 'Forewarned is forearmed', so when we say stay safe we are kind of warning people to remember the problem or situation in advance, that way we will be better able to deal with it when we need to.

Stay safe as well. I pray and believe strongly that this too shall pass and we'll get through this, for normal life to resume once more.
