Friday morning a lot like every morning before it. Nothing exciting going on around here for the day. Last night we had some good thunderstorms roll through the area. They brought heavy rain and lots of lightning. At least the power didn’t go out so that was good. Oddly it brought warmer temps to the area and now it is a bit humid outside due to all the rain. It’s almost time to go grocery shopping again, starting to get down on some of the things we were stocked up on like meat, noodles, rice and things. I will make a list today and either go sometime today or maybe tomorrow and get what I can. Not to bad though, we survived two months on these things and still could push them another couple weeks but before we are completely out I want to restock what I can. How are you all doing on those kinds of things? Hope you all enjoy this day and be safe out there.

Since the situation here has calmed down, there is no need for stocks, to be honest, I didn't make them even when I might have needed them.

Oh I live on the idea that I should have at least a few months stock on things, you never know when things might go wrong and you need it.

@Bensen32 I'm just kidding, who else wants to be a pawn? But I have a couple of ideas and I am very strict

Not too many shortages here. Depends where you shop.

Here it is about what day and time you go if there are things that are hard to come by.

I just had a grocery delivery yesterday and it should last for a few weeks. I don't want to let things get too low either because it's hit or miss what you can get when you get to the store.

You know rice is a staple food here, i think there, you just eat it sometimes, right? we still have stock. We have tons of canned goods. I think by the end of the month, will tell my husband to buy meats.

Yes, depending on who you are here but over all rice is not that big a thing, although personally I try to fit it in a few times a week. It is cheap and can be filling enough and it can go with everything.
