Billy Bass who is a school teacher at Avalon Middle School in Orlando Florida is lucky to be alive after he had trouble breathing after a piece of steak was stuck in his breathing area last Saturday afternoon. Billy went to get help after he started to choke by running across the street to get help from Karen Aranda who has known Billy for 13 years. Karen used the Heimlich maneuver to remove the piece of steak that was trapped in his breathing area on the first try. To show the popularity of the D C comics heroine Wonder Woman, Billy calls the actions of Karen in the same respect of the character that was created by the late William Moulton Marston.

I agree with you since I have heard that hitting the back against a wall is useful too.

She truly was a wonder! I remember choking on a piece of steak myself and having the host at the restaurant dislodge it. Although embarrassed I was grateful for the assistance

Sorry to learn about your choking experience with steak. In my case it is when I cough due to illness that I am being treated for when I drink water to try to stop the cough.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, I've had water or other drinks go down the wrong pipe. A very scary moment when your chocking and trying to get a breath

That is what I was thinking since running across the street instead of going to a next door neighbor was a huge gamble.

I’m so thankful that turned out okay, but the first thing I thought when I saw that was, Seriously, that poor guy’s name is Billy Bass?
Big Mouth Billy Bass... He's annoying and fun all in one! (you can hear my mom say 'Who Pushed the Fish') This was filmed with a very old digital camera, so ...

I know since having the last name Bass is fishy.
