When you don't know what to write about, just write about not knowing what to write about, which gives you something to write about.
Kinda what I am doing now.
I didn't wanna write about having to do laundry, clean the house, and wash dishes, which I am not in the mood to do. And I didn't wanna do another post about what's for breakfast, lunch or dinner... I also didn't wanna do another meaningless post.
Yet here I am doing just that probably... Oh well. At least I wrote something, which is better than nothing...
How do you figure out what to write about?

I love it when writers write about writer's block--that is the way through for me!

Sometimes writing about how you don't know what to write about can bring on writing ideas... Happened to me a few times.

I've wrote a lot about that. Can you be an expert at that? Thanks for sharing that.

@paigea Sometimes that is the case with me. But there are people who not only write one every day but they write many a day every day.

That's not good. Maybe write them down as soon as they come to you.

@mrki444 If you are driving definitely can't write it down unless you pull over.

There's nothing for me to worry to write about. There's a lot of things to write as long as you take your pen to write.

True. Sometimes I start writing something and then reject it, thinking nobody will care about what I am writing about. Or I end up hating what I wrote and delete it.

@Nakitakona Yeah. Sometimes I delete something but then regret it later.

@lovebuglena It would be better if you keep it and you may use it later. So you save time and efforts.

I admit some of my posts aren't enthralling, but I do usually think of something I want to write about. I know some write ideas down.

Sometimes you don't know what to write about and read a discussion by someone else and maybe its comments and you get inspired to write something.

I might check out the news in case there is something interesting or I might go through my photos.

Good idea, though a lot of negative stuff in the news these days and not just to do with covid-19.

Only post when you feel like it. You can just read and comment. Lot of people do only that.

I don't force myself to post if I don't feel like posting. Nothing wrong with not posting on a given day.

"What happened on that day?" - this one I know you've been doing for a while. The Foods A-Z is recent right?
