Hubby is busy today, cleaning and doing an oil change on the truck. It is a nice change of pace. So good to have something to interest him.
I have the mower out. I have veggies scraps simmering in a big pot to make vegetable stock to cook with. It has been pretty sunny almost all day.

I did not time it. I just simmered it til it reduced down about half and had a nice rich color. My herbal teacher had told us to do this. So all the onion skins and carrot tops and the base of the celery went in the pot. There were the tough ends I trimmed from asparagus as well.

Enjoy the rest of your day! Very chilly here at a brisk 50 degrees. Rain on and off, perhaps intermittent storms if the radar is to be believed.

Whether sunny or rainy I'm inside all the time. No reason to go outside except to run errands or attend worship services. My sons take care of the car I drive. My daughters have been doing most of the cooking lately. So I'm just on my laptop all day. Nothing else for me to do!

Mu day was a change too. I went off on my own and Robert on his own, to get things done. I miss him being around all day, well, working together.
