Not saying that it won't be back but for now it is gone. We are now 15 days without a single case. All have recovered and we had no deaths. Tomorrow things start returning to a somewhat normal life here. Of course it will be different with social distancing, masks, etc.
As of tomorrow every business has been given the go ahead to open as long as they follow all the guidelines that have been put in place. We are now allow to gather in groups of 50 as long as social distancing is followed. Also we can now spend time with our families which I am really looking forward to. I can not wait to hug them all. It has been over two months since I could do that.
We weren't sure we would be able to go camping this summer but the campgrounds are now opened so we have that to look forward to. Things are looking up.
We still have to be careful and follows the rules but we are definitely headed in the right direction.
How are things in your are with the virus? Are things improving?

I envy your situation there that you have no new cases for 2 weeks. That is great, Let's hope that the virus will not come back.

@Happy2BeMe No they didn't go back. On the island, all schools are closed until September. So they're not going back until then.

That is wonderful news!
Its been a long 9 weeks of lockdown here in Ontario.
We are in Phase 1 of the reopening, but they are being so cautious.
The nursing and rest homes are still quarantined, we worry about my mother since nobody has been allowed in since late February. But they have done well, there hasn't been any cases in her city in senior homes.
I am still working from home, my husband does work-share, and is off for 1 day each week.

This is such good news. What city are you in. I've been keeping an eye on New York City who got battered. They are riding the 700 cases per day wave and may need til June. People keep pressing the governor to open but they've got to stay the course. In DC , our cases are up slowly . Some people are just not wearing a mask as they should. I hope it starts to go the other way.

@db20747 Everything went into lockdown as soon as we had one case. Some thought we were overreacting and acted too soon but it paid off in the end. Because of the that we were able to keep the numbers low.

Being able to see and actually hug your family is wonderful. Hopefully things here will return to normal ( or the new normal) soon. Little by little things are opening up. I haven't seen my family in over two months and that's the first thing I want to do when quarantine is lifted.

Yes the lockdown has eased a little with improvement in the recovery rate of Corona cases but new case are surfacing due people returning from other states or countries.
