Even though some theaters around the nation have been given the green light to reopen for business, the minor problem these theaters are facing is that movies are not being released in some markets until the middle of the summer at least in the Lake Charles area. One theater in Park Ridge Illinois that is famous since it was opening sequence of the television show "At The Movies" that was hosted by movie critics the late Roger Ebert and the late Gene Siskel from 1982-1986. The co-owner of the theater David Loomis Is using a unique method of keeping the business going by having curbside sales of popcorn, candy and other foods for sale twice a week where customers can buy the food and come home to see a movie. The sales of the current project have been successful since movie customer love to have a meal even though they will have to wait a while for movies to be played at the Pickwick Theater until the coronavirus pandemic leaves.
