Good afternoon, Just got back in the house and out of the shower. It is a very nice day outside right now. The sun is out and its around 71 F (21 C). It was a nice time to take a walk so I did. I don’t keep track of miles walked or anything cause that might discourage my lazy self from walking. I just pick a place that I am going to walk to and go. I picked walking to Red Robin (the restaurant) just because it is a pretty long walk. The walk took just over two hours. I did learn something on this walk. When I got there, I found out that the place is still open for pickup only, but that on Tuesday they will be opening for limited seating for dine in. The man that I talked to let me take a quick look in and there is probably less then half the seating they use to have. There is a lot of room between each table. I don’t know that I am ready to go into a place and sit down to eat but at least I am seeing some progress to places starting to open back up. I guess everyone will have to make that choice for themselves. Will a lot of people be ready this week to get back to the things we use to do, or will it take a while longer for people to get back out there again? Are you ready to jump right back to the old ways or are you going to try and hold off and see how things go?

We are in no hurry. Most places here have delivery or curb service and some are offering nice discounts. While everyone must decide what is right for them, hopefully people will exercise caution.

Yes, we have the same thing here but some are starting to open a little more. There are a few places that opened this week for take out but no dine in. One step closer to "normal".

I don't walk as much as I should. It takes about forty five minutes to walk to the park in my neighborhood, and once there I could walk the trail a few times and back and have a good amount of exercise in.. If I wasn't so lazy.

@Bensen32 Oh, I know I will. Last year, or year before last, I would wake up and change into workout gear and walk around the neighborhood for 30-45 minutes then come home and start the day. In the evening, I'd do the same.

I totally agree, but at some point you might want to get out there and do it. Start small, walk to the end of the block and back or around the outside of the house or something. Or set a time like, I have to walk to the end of the black and back before I make lunch, get yourself into the habit. I know easier said than done but I think you will feel better once you get to doing it.

Well, if your waiting for it not to exist you might be waiting years. Of course you have to do what makes you feel safe just like anything else in life.

@m_audrey6788 To me and this is just my opinion. It's like anything else in life, you take precautions and try to be as smart as you can be with it. Example, in a known bad neighborhood you don't go walking around by yourself in the middle of the night. Why? because you know there is a risk to it, you avoid doing so unless there is a real reason you have to.

It was sunny for awhile yesterday, but then it stormed last night. I really wanted to go back to church yesterday, but my mother talked me out of going. She's scared that I will get sick. Plus my face mask is stuck in GA right now. I didn't really go to restaurants before this virus hit.

Oh there is a church not far from here that they have services in the parking lot where people stay in their car.

I don't really think about it much, I work and go where I want, I'm not a fan of cafes or cinemas, if I did I would go

@Bensen32 It will normalize, it just takes patience, almost everything is the same here as before the virus

Two hours of walking that would be more than 8 kilometers in distance.

That sounds about right I guess. I try not to think about how far it is or the lazy side of my brain will tell me not to do it

I'm not in any hurry to go out and eat. I'm all for those who want to take advantage of dining in, being served and not having to cook or cleanup. For me, I'll wait awhile before eating in a restaurant.

No. I am not ready. The number of COVID-19 cases here is over 14,000 and I don't want to take the risk
