Wind Almost Blew Me Away

Was outside filling up the bird bath just now. Sunshine when I went out. Then all of a sudden the wind started blowing and I thought I would end up in my neighbor's yard.

She was out walking her dog in her yard and had to take him inside. Dark clouds showed up out of nowhere. I managed to snap a photo of the pines blowing and the dark clouds on my way back inside. Kind of scary when you almost get knocked down by the wind. No warning. This time of the year you can expect the unexpected weather. Now I hear thunder.

I can relate to what you are saying since when it rains, my concern is that lightning will strike near my home and knockout my computer.

Ive never been blown off of my feet before. It would be scary as the wind can blow over lots of much heavier things than people. Imagine if it carried you up in the air and then you dropped to the ground!!

@caroldm We've had blowy weather here too, branches of trees lying all over the roads and garden furniture everywhere. All is incredibly calm now. Stay safe, and upright.

That is scary. Fortunately you were close to home. It's nothing scarier than getting caught in freaky weather and you're a long way from home. I have been caught in unexpected weather and all I could think of was ][i"I wish I was home! I wish I was home! I wish I was home! Am I going to get home? Lord please! I wanna go home!"[/i] It's awful!

@CarolDM The wind when it blows is really strong. I have been inside my scooter and it tried to blow my scooter and myself over too. I would not blame her for going inside with her dog. I would get inside before the downpour comes down around you.
