It sounds strange maybe to say that walking and gardening are my best friends, but honestly they are.
I feel so much better mentally and physically when I can walk and garden.
To me It is pure joy.
Of course, music is also a great friend and I enjoy listening to all kinds of genres, except rap.
Any pure joy in your life?

For me it isn't gardening. But walking is definitely a blessing for me

It's the same for me, Marlina. Gardening is pure joy. It gives me hope and relaxation. I also love to go for a walk early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

Those are 2 activities I also enjoy. I like planting flowers and watching them grow. Walking on the boardwalk on a summer night is very relaxing for me. And of course my music comes along on my walks which is always a mood improver. And playing golf can be great fun when I'm hitting the ball nicely.

You are physically in a right track for having walking and gardening to keep body sound and healthy. I'm so glad for you.

I love to walk with Little Miss. Watching her face light up when she sees a bird, a cloud formation, butterflies, or flowers is a delight.
Love to garden too. But, I am not doing as much as I once did. If I had raised garden beds it would be wonderful! I could do so much more.

My cat is my joy! Well, ok, one of my joys. I'm happy to see my students and my grandkids online. Also I take two bicycle rides a day if the weather permits-- one to get my brain going for online teaching, and the other after "school" is done, to relax. I also have been getting into gardening. I used to do container gardening but with school going till mid-June I didn't have much time. This year I have started back with all those old pots that have been sitting lazily in my garden doing nothing for several years!

Same here music is wonderful
for every occasion
but some music I don't warm up to. Could it be the culture?
