Last week, we definitely had some summer weather and it was warmer than the week before. But now it's a lot warmer and there's some humidity. It's so much warmer. I wish our outdoor pool was opened, but unfortunately it isn't.

I looked up humidity today, and saw that you have more humidity than Florida. Humidity is awful. It's sunny and warm here today, but not hot and humid, thank goodness. Stay cool if you can.

Wow I'm surprised to hear this. We'll definitely be staying cool. Drinking water, fan on. My kids will have a cool bath or shower later.

@dodo19 Do you have a/c? Ours is running in Florida until we return - whenever that will be. We haven't had to turn it on here since we've been back.

@DianneN We do have an AC that we put in our window. We haven't put it up yet, despite the fact that I mentioned putting it up over the weekend. My husband wants to wait.

I hate the humidity. It can make a nice day almost unbearable.

@dodo19 No, it's not pleasant. When I was younger it didn't bother me, but now I can't handle it.

It's still early for the pool here, it's been cold for two days due to rain falling for two days in a row, and it is expected in the coming days

I can certainly understand not wanting to go to the pool if you're getting rain.

@dodo19 Not only because of the rain, although it is so this year, with rain, but generally here in May the temperature is not high enough for the pool

You are so lucky to have a pool. We can't even have a small pool. Our landlord said we can have a kiddie pool, but it has to be emptied every night. We don't have an outside spigot so we would have to lug buckets out to the pool to fill it. No way are we doing that! Little Miss will have to be happy playing in a tub water inside the house!!

Yes, we are definitely lucky. It's a shame that it would be so difficult for you guys to have a kiddie pool and such. At least Little Miss is happy playing in a tub.

Here we have severe heatwave. The maximum is nearing 45 C! And some observatories near airports recorded 47 plus. Hot and dry winds blow during the day!

@dodo19 Yes 43 to 44 is what is the maximum most of the years. However, we have had more of 45 plus in the last two to three years.

Its hot and humid here today again also, but it does not bother me that public pools are not open, even if we had our own I would not be tempted, its too early with the given situation, we have to be patient, eat lots of ice cream to cool off and be satisfied with that for now.

I don't mind it too much, although it would be nice to dip my feet in the pool or something. I do agree that it's a bit too early to head to the pool. We'll definitely be eating cold things like ice cream and such.

@dodo19 I do use the a/c in the car when I go out, but the interior of our car is black, so it just soaks in all of the sun's heat.

it is hard to deal with. I think turning AC on nd staying indoor is the best thing to do.

My sister lives in Montreal and find it pretty hot right now. Here, too humid today, I can't go outside at all.
