Taking a Break from myLot

I’m completely wiped out and afterall, it is Friday date night. I’m wiped out from grocery shopping online. Thursday, when most of the fresh food deliveries arrive just in time for the weekend, I placed two huge orders from two stores. Both deliveries arrived within an hour of each other. However, I spent the entire afternoon sterilizing every single thing that came into my house, and then the entire kitchen. Today, I spent most of the day rewrapping food and meat for the freezer, and then resterilizing the kitchen and on the phone with family and friends. I’m off until tomorrow because it’s time for my date! See you tomorrow.

I totally can relate to your day. It’s a lot of work ordering online and then sanitizing everything.

I can understand what would be your state when groceries arrive. Even my wife is mad about cleaning things, and sometimes it leads to one or two small arguments too. And if there is something that has not arrived as per expectations, then it is a bad bad day for me, and it happened just a while back !!

And I am feeling forlorn and sad !

! But I can understand being pooped. When I shop, there are certain things I keep quarantined in the garage for a few days (non perishables) . . . and I only got to finishing cleaning the rest of it yesterday (I procrastinated).

Well, Prince charming and his Princess Di (lol) were too pooped to party. All we did was plop on the couch and watch a couple of episodes of a series we've been watching on Netflix - and no martini!
