A Gorgeous Day

My friend picked me up just before noon and we along with another friend went for a wonderful day to a craft shop doing a grand opening. It was a bit of a let down as I expected a craft show, but it was announcing the opening for future events and classes for different craft ideas. We then visited a couple of parks. I really wished I took my camera with me. We were on the Bay of Green Bay and the waves stormed the rocks and splashed over the edge onto the parking lot. It was an awesome sight. My friend also took us to her home where she gave the grand tour inside and out. She has a lovely home and yard with flowers getting ready to bloom, a bleeding hearts bush in full bloom, and yard ornaments around the outside of the house. Then it was home. I made a fool of myself when I got out of the car, tripped over my shoe, and landed on the ground. It knocked the wind out of me, but I'm fine, just embarrassed. There are nice white fluffy clouds and the breeze is just enough to keep it pleasant. Our other friend who went along is the person who proofed Legacy. She surprised me when she said she liked it better than Thread of Evidence and she loved Thread of Evidence, so that's saying a lot to me. I have chapter one sitting next to me and ready to read and make corrections. She also told me to put it in the mystery genre. That was my afternoon. How is/was your day? Thanks for reading.
