Pathways should have arrows for directional guide

It is not only the road that need traffic signs but also pathways so that people will not be close to each other. Something like you need to walk to your right and the person on the opposite direction will be walking to your left. Without the markets, pedestrians will not respect that style of traffic on the pathways.

I think even the stairs should have markers. This virus is really making us dumb.

@LadyDuck with the easing of the lockdown that started today, I don't know what happens next because I know that the rules will not be followed by everyone.

A lot of people are doing what they want so we have to make sure we are a safe distance from them.

@Alexandoy You are so right. It's like when you are driving. You have to watch out for the other drivers.

@simone10 that is it exactly. People are now like vehicles. Be aware of the traffic.

We have to avoid those people walking towards us. The opposite direction should have a clear distance.

People should discipline themselves and just keep themselves away from the other. I do it automatically when I think others forgot their social distancing.

It takes a long time for the public to learn the new protocols.

It depends on the people, not everyone is the same and I'm not sure how much that would be possible here, maybe a few would respect

That is also how I envision the new normal. Some would respect and some would ignore the markers.

@LowRiderX same here, the authorities are not trusted much. Maybe 40% of the population do not trust the leadership here.

@Alexandoy We are not all the same, but we are very specific here, when we are told to do it, it is generally not done in large numbers. This is because the authorities are not trusted

I agree the path ways must have a marking at the centre of the path so that the incoming and outgoing crowd dont collide with each other. The walls also should show direction.

Yes, that is the main idea to separate the coming from the going. People cannot be trusted with that so we need the markings.

@Alexandoy Yes you are right. But why are walls of the passage way so high?

@jayanth_77 that is a pathway going to the underground chamber. It is in a garden park in Seoul.

Yes, markings need to be set for maintaining distances, like what has been done in the case of shops. The one in the above photograph is connecting to some subway?

We are all affected so I always think for myself and I don't really care if others wouldn't be careful. As long as my family and me are safe then there is no problem.

@JudyEv that's right. I care for my family and people in my circle. But it is really a "save yourself" situation and you may be infected if you are not careful.

The signs in the pathways are needed because I noticed that some people do not care about distancing. They just walk on the side where they want.

@Alexandoy I am glad they have the signs there. I find people do not read signs very much here or follow what they say so I believe it would be useless here. People do what they want here.

A friend of mine used to own a company that painted lines in hospitals (ER follow the green) his idea was to have lines end in walls, just to see what people would do.

right on that. by the way, the road traffic is always left-hand driving, right? in UK, it is right-hand driving. if i were to drive a RHD, i would need to have many signs of pathways so i won't be lost.
