Happy birthday as a mother. / myLot

Today, 56 years ago, I became a mother for the first time.

Tania was a tiny miracle, quite different in some ways as the middle aged woman she is now. But in other ways, I feel that she is very similar to the child who was always asking funny questions that I did not know how to answer. Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to her

Happy birthday to Tania .... I've never heard anyone refer to giving birth to a child as their birthday but now that I think about it it does makes sense.
