A Strange Happening

My phone rang yesterday and I looked to see who was calling. It was my sons number and I answered. At first I heard mummering voices in the back ground and then nothing. I kept calling my sons name into the phone and he finally answered.
I had just talked to him a day or so before so he sounded surprised and asked me if everything was all right. I told him yes but the odd thing was he told me he hadn't called me. His phone rang and he answered it and thought I was calling him. I cannot imagine what happened. .

Sometimes it happens to me that a friend would accidentally press the call and since I am first in the directory so the call goes to my phone.

same with my friend named agnes. she's used to "wrong number" calls since the days of Nokia because her name starts with A and is always at the top of the contact list.

@hereandthere when that happened many times, I told my friends and relatives to reverse my name in their phone directory. Xela is better than Alex. Waheehee.

@RubyHawk Well, I didn't say it was explainable, just that it happened to me a few times! It very well could have been ghosts messing with us!

@moffittjc Don't tell me that, I have enough trouble without ghosts.

Once and a while Hubby will do that to me. He usually has his phone in his pant pocket. . . . my phone will ring, I answer, and all I can hear is the swish swish of one of the machines he uses at work. He never hears me, so I just hang up. Butt dial .

Yes sometimes people forget they spoke the other day over phone. Phone calling has become so common that we hardly remember whom and what we talked .

The strange ways of technology. It reminds me of the time that I picked up the phone to call my sister, and her voice was on the other end of the phone..still not sure how that one happened!
