SO WHAT!

The headline for an article published in the Investigative Post reads: "Police crowd-control unit resigns in protest". Yeah? SO WHAT! Just make sure they turn in their weapons, badges and uniforms before they go! We don't want 'em joining a hellish secretive paramilitary unit in the US and going around masquerading as bona fide law enforcement officers, giving the real good guys a bad name. What? Are you surprised that there are actually good guys on our police forces? Well there are! There always were good guys and there always will be good guys. For the record, I fully support LAW AND ORDER. (In case our POTUS is reading this.)

Things seem to be a mess over there. Some of the police seem to be just thugs in uniform.

It made the news in the UK. I think the worst part of the event was the officers walking past the casualty and even pulling off one of their number who was going to help.

They didn't resign from their jobs. They resigned from a special response unit. They are still fully employed as police officers.

I KNOW! But I'm not going to split hairs over it. The resignation was supposed to be a "protest" and my point is THEY AIN'T THE ONES WHO SHOULD BE PROTESTING!! They got weapons, they got uniforms, they got badges, THEY GOT UNIONS!! PROTEST. PROTECT. Big difference! They are supposed to PROTECT. But they are the ones who are PROTECTED. So now they want to try to substitute the letter "C" with the letter "S". Their so-called PROTEST was just so they could PROTECT each other!! As if! THAT'S CRAP!!
